A Weight Loss Secret Weight loss is the biggest hot button. It seems to follow most of us throughout our lives. The world tells us we are fat and doctors tell us we are unhealthy. We desperately want and need to lose weight, but at the same time we love to eat. We need to eat. And so food becomes the enemy. It is an easy assumption. Since we need to lose weight the obvious conclusion is that food is the enemy.
But in reality food is not the enemy, and to view it that way is also unhealthy. Eating is necessary. Not eating is not an option. Our bodies need food for fuel to power us through our everyday activities. Eating is good. It only becomes a bad thing when we over indulge, and overindulging is not a bad thing if it is a once in a while whoops kind of thing. It is when it becomes a daily habit that it starts to change our bodies.
For the most part overweight individuals are not out there overindulging by consuming dozens of cheeseburgers. They are practicing moderation. Staying on track with healthy foods and when they detour off that track they get back on and try again. So why then is losing weight so very difficult? Could it be that our bodies are working against us? Could it be that there are processes happening inside our bodies that are preventing us from losing weight?
According to some experts that is exactly what is happening. Overweight individuals have developed build up inside their bodies that is poisoning the weight loss process. It is a stalemate that ends up in weight gain and possible sickness for the overweight individual. If the weight loss process has become a cycle of lose one pound gain two then chances are your body is working against you and not for you.
Do not underestimate the power of your body to work for you. If you are healthy and free of harmful radicals that upset your bodys natural processes then weight loss should not be an issue. It is only when the body becomes poisoned and cannot clean itself out that weight gain is its only option. Weight gain becomes a protection that the body thinks it needs. Straighten your bodies systems out, clean them out and the body no longer needs the extra weight. It only makes sense right?
